Beadwork is a sacred practice. It can be an expression of joy, grief, pride, creativity, or carry rich cultural significance for ceremonies. My beadwork incorporates different combinations of these elements depending on what is inspiring me. Sometimes I use patterns that have been passed down through generations, ones I’ve learned from elders of my tribe, and sometimes I simply create intricate color maps in my head and transpose them into the beaded medium.

Yes, you are allowed (and welcome) to wear my work even if you are not Native. I’ll indicate whether a piece is specifically for ceremonial use.

I am so grateful to be able to share my Northern Arapaho creative culture with you!

My Art

These daisy earrings were inspired by memories of “summer in California.” Here they are pictured resting on a boulder in Sinks Canyon.
